Take Time to Unplug

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few moments, including  you.

⁣This past week I took some time to unplug for a bit.  For 15 years now, we have taken a getaway to Toledo Bend with my parents and my brother's family.  The camp we rent is in an area where we have no cell service.  And this year, it was just what I needed!

We can all get wrapped up in the list of things to do, not enough time to do them and the guilt of leaving things on our list not checked off.  If there is anything we should have all learned during this past year was how to live a simpler life.  Busyness is not a badge of honor any of us should be striving to live.

⁣During the month of April, my intention is to be okay with leaving things on my list not checked off.  What I need this month is simple... I need rest and the ability to be present in the moment without apology or guilt for the things left unchecked on my to do list.  I am going to practice slowing down, pressing pause and breathing in some fresh air.

What do you need this month?  I'd love to hear from you and help you in any way I can.
